What to do in the event of a problem

Here at the Furniture Company 247, we understand that things don't always go to plan. If you need to return an item to us, please read our following returns policy in full.

In compliance with the Consumer Protection (Distance selling) Regulations 2000, goods can of course be returned to us within 7 days. It is the responsibility (including the cost) of the consumer to return the unused goods in their original packaging using a safe and secure method to return the goods.

When to contact us about a problem

In the unlikely situation that you may discover a problem with your purchase, please email us at sales@furniturecompany247.co.uk quoting your order reference within 7 days of receipt of delivery with details in full, and a representative will contact you to help resolve any problem.

How to return an item

Please contact us before returning your item for a returns number. Should you wish to cancel your order after delivery has been made or dispatched, you will be required to contact us as soon as possible within 7 working days after delivery has been made on sales@furniturecompany247.co.uk stating your order reference number. We may be able to arrange collection on your behalf at a cost. Please contact us for individual prices.

In all cases, the item(s) must be complete and in 'as new' condition

If the item(s) have been removed from the original packaging, it must have been done so without causing damage to the item(s). All items including cushions seat pads must be in the original wrappers/packaging.

Where returns should be sent to

Please include your returns number within, or a copy of your original invoice. We strongly recommend you obtain a proof of dispatch, however please note this is not proof of receipt.

Once the goods have been received in good condition, we will refund via the original payment method. Refunds will take approximately two working days from the safe return of the item(s) at our warehouse, and will be credited to the card or account used for payment, and will be subject to the goods arriving back to our warehouse in the condition which they were dispatched. In certain circumstances and locations we may be able to arrange the collection of your items; please contact us for a collection price.

All of our items are shipped fully insured, however please ensure you read the section below as without this procedure being followed, the insurance would become invalid. Upon receipt of your item please note that in signing for the item your are signing as received in good condition. We strongly suggest that you open your parcel in front of the delivery driver to ensure no damage has occurred. Should there be ANY signs what so ever of damage, please refuse to accept delivery and ask the driver to return the product.
